FD-850 Incremental Fiberoptic Encoder.
The FD-850 is a low cost incremental fiberoptic encoder was specifically designed for environments with high levels of EMI, RFI, or strong magnetic fields. The encoder is inherently safe for use in explosive atmospheres.
The electronics package is remotely mounted and linked to the sensing element via a heavy duty fiberoptic cable. The cable is detachable at the electronics to facilitate installation and maintenance.
Position information is provided as incremental A & B quadrature with an Index channel.
FD-850 Absolute Fiberoptic Encoder.
The FD-850A is a low cost absolute fiberoptic encoder was specifically designed for environments with high levels of EMI, RFI, or strong magnetic fields. The encoder is inherently safe for use in explosive atmospheres.
The electronics package is remotely mounted and linked to the sensing element via a heavy duty fiberoptic cable. The cable is detachable at the electronics to facilitate installation and maintenance.
Position information is provided as parallel Gray Code or Natural Binary, serial RS422, or 0-10V and/or 4-20mA analog ouputs.
