CP-900 Incremental Sine/Cosine.

The CP-900 is a sinusoidal "infinite resolution" encoder specifically designed for digitizing the waveform. The sine/cosine versions allow a high degree of interpolation because of the low distortion waveform for extremely accurate positioning and speed control. May be used with our CP-1064 64X Interpolator which provides as many as 256 measuring steps for each cycle.

CP-950/970 Digital Incremental & Absolute.

The CP-950/970 series size 25 is available as an incremental encoder of up to 10,000 cycles per revolution (40,000 counts or measuring steps). The absolute versions come is 12 bit and 14 bit single-turn models including a 0-10V or 4-20mA "optical potentiometer" version.

Some versions are available with an integral fiberoptic data link, 24 bit multi-turn, High Count Encoders (HHC) with up to 128,000 cycles. See our Fiber Optic Encoders or our Specialty Encoders for more information.

The light source is a single light emitting diode, servo controlled for constant light output over time and temperature, the sensor is a monolithic silicon array.
