CP-860/861 Incremental Fiberoptic Link.

The CP-860/861 is a size 25, housed encoder with resolutions up to 10,000 cycles per revolution (40,000 counts or measuring steps) with an integral fiberoptic link. The industrial grade fiberoptic cable insures noise-immune transmission of the encoder signals (immune to EMI, RFI, and lightning, etc.) and can be pulled through conduit. The CP-860 is transmit only, the CP-861 can be daisy-chained up to four units.

The receiver is housed in the backshell of a DB-25 connector. The outputs are compatible with PLC controllers, both in the 5 Volt and 8-15 Volt supply modes. The encoders can be remotely powered from 8V to 30V, polarity and overvoltage protected.

CP-860-4096/3600GC 12-bit Absolute Fiberoptic Link.

The CP-860-4096/3600GC is a size 25, 12-bit absolute housed encoder with an integral fiberoptic link. The industrial grade fiberoptic cable insures noise-immune transmission of the encoder signals (immune to EMI, RFI, and lightning, etc.) and can be pulled through conduit. In addition, substantial savings are realized over the use of parallel, multi-conductor shielded cables and connectors without sacrificing realtime operation.

The receiver is housed in the backshell of a DB-25 connector. The outputs are compatible with PLC controllers, both in the 5 Volt and 8-15 Volt supply modes. The encoder can be remotely powered from 8V to 30V, polarity and overvoltage protected.
