CM-300 Incremental Sine/Cosine and Digital Motor/Encoder.

The CM-300 is a high performance brushless DC motor with integral optical encoder characterized by a very high torque to inertia ratio. Both two and three phase versions are available.

The motor was specifically designed for high speed, high resolution scanning and positioning applications and accepts all CP-300/350/50/550 encoder configurations: absolute up to 10 bits, incremental up to 4,096 c/r (sine/cosine and digital). The sine/cosine signals are very low distortion and can be interpolated to yield resolutions of many millions of measuring points per revolution. Commutation signals ("Hall sensors") are available as standard outputs for the three phase versions.

Applications include tunable lasers, optical spectrum analyzers, programmable optical attenuators and wavemeters.
