CHATSWORTH, June 19, 2007 -- Computer Optical Products, Inc. announced today that their Quality Management System has been successfully certified in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B, for the manufacture of Optical Encoders, Servo Actuators and Motors for the aerospace industry.

AS9100 Quality Systems for Aerospace is the first global aerospace quality standard integrated with ISO 9001:2000 and addresses Quality Assurance in the Design, Development, Production, Installation and Servicing of products for aerospace applications. The certification focuses on key areas that have a direct impact on product safety and reliability, including Configuration Management, Design, Purchasing, Product Realization and Product Monitoring/Measurement.
